INA develops and produces rolling bearings, plain bearings, linear motion products, and automotive engine components worldwide. As a partner in research and development, INA works closely with its customers from the initial stages of system development. New solutions for customers are created daily, meaning that more than 1,000 new products are launched on the market every year. INA invests heavily in its research and development department, with a special focus recently on constructing new R&D centres in Germany, Asia, and North America.

The INA brand is widely used in the automotive industry, including engines, transmissions, and chassis, as well as in the industrial sector. INA has an unrivalled technological advantage in precision product forming and offers its customers excellent, cost-efficient solutions. In the industrial sector, four industry sectors direct the marketing of the INA and FAG brands in production machinery, power transmission, railroads, heavy industry, and consumer products.

Types of INA Bearings

INA bearings are produced in Germany and occupy a pivotal position in the field of bearings worldwide; INA bearings have many types suitable for different mechanical equipment or use environments. The contact angle is zero when it only bears the pure radial load. When the deep groove ball bearing has a large radial clearance, with angular contact bearing performance, it can withstand a large axial load. The deep groove ball bearing friction coefficient is very small, and the limit speed is also very high, especially in the axial load is very high-speed operating conditions; deep groove ball bearings to thrust ball bearings have more superiority. Deep groove ball bearings are the most representative rolling bearings and are widely used.

Angular contact ball bearing: can bear both radial load and axial load. It can work at a higher speed. The larger the contact angle, the higher the axial load-carrying capacity. High precision and high-speed bearings usually take 15 degrees contact angle. Under the action of axial force, the contact angle will increase.

Cylindrical roller bearings: Cylindrical roller and raceway are linear contact bearings. Large load capacity, mainly bearing radial load. The rolling body and the sleeve retaining edge friction are small and suitable for high-speed rotation. With or without an edge, the sleeve can be divided into NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF and other single-row bearings, and NNU, NN and other double-row bearings. The bearing is the structure of the inner ring, and the outer ring can be separated. The inner ring or outer ring without retaining edge cylindrical roller bearing, it's inner ring and outer ring can move relative to the axial direction so that it can be used as free end bearing. In the inner and outer ring of a side of the double retaining edge, the other side of the collar has a single retaining edge of the cylindrical roller bearings, which can withstand a certain degree of the direction of axial load. Generally use steel plate stamping cage or copper alloy turned cage. But there is also a part of the use of polyamide forming cage.

Spherical ball bearings: double-row self-retaining units consisting of a solid outer ring with a cylindrical or conical hole and a ball and cage assembly with a concave groove plate. These bearings can be opened or sealed.

Linear rolling bearings: These include linear guidance systems, roller guidance systems, optical shaft and linear ball bearing guidance systems, flat cage guidance systems, linear recirculating ball or roller guidance systems, and drive units (actuators and tables).

In addition, INA also manufactures special miniature guidance systems for small design applications. For example, mechatronics and precision industrial applications. These compact components have a very high load capacity, low friction, high rigidity, and a choice of cage and loop types. Due to their compact design, they can replace solutions that require a lot of space.

INA Bearing Suffix

INA bearing suffixes are located after the code. Suffixes play a complementary role to the code and indicate standard requirements, variations in structure or other special requirements. Common INA bearing suffix codes are as follows:

A: The meaning of these symbols is not listed in detail and varies according to the different types of INA bearings.
B, C: according to the need, they mark certain INA bearing internal structure or external shape of the characteristics. Usually, to avoid confusion during the transition period, such symbols are only used in a certain period. In some cases, they are also used as the same type and the same external dimensions and different internal structures of INA bearings and their components of permanent signs.
AS1: outer ring with lubricating oil hole
C3: Radial internal clearance is greater than the normal value
EGS: processed inner ring raceway without spiral marks (for contact sealing)
FPM: seal made of fluorine rubber
G2: Needle roller and standard quality grade
IS1: Inner ring with lubricating oil hole
PE: Increased tolerance (ZKLF / ZKLN only)
