The rollers of the CC spherical roller bearings are symmetrical, and there is no stopping point set on its inner ring. Its cage is composed of a pressed steel frame and is divided into two parts. In addition, the CC type cleverly designs a movable middle ring between the rollers, which not only helps to reduce the internal friction of the bearing, but also effectively guides the rollers in the non stress zone to enter the bearing area correctly, thereby improving the bearing's ultimate speed.
The CC spherical roller bearings design allows for a larger internal space of the bearing, and the use of reinforced rolling elements can increase the load of the bearing in limited space, Suitable for use in steel plant equipment, lifting equipment, port equipment, etc.
There are significant differences in construction, mainly reflected in the design of the bearing inner ring and the material used to make the cage. These two types are not interchangeable.
The design of the CA type cage occupies a relatively large amount of space inside the bearing, which to some extent limits the size and quantity of rolling elements, and therefore its radial bearing capacity is relatively limited; CC type bearings provide a more spacious internal space, making it possible to increase the load by increasing the number of rollers. In situations of heavy load or high-speed operation, it is more recommended to choose CC type bearings.
