TDI double row roller bearings consist of an integrated double row inner ring and two single row outer rings. The complete bearing usually has an outer ring spacer to pre-adjust the clearance. If a rotary bearing seat is used, this type of bearing can be used on the free end of the shaft or on the fixed end of the rotary shaft.
The structure of TDI type double row roller bearings is double inner rings and two single row outer rings, some with outer ring spacers, some without, and the outer rings are polished to facilitate matching. TDI bearings are supplied as a complete package. Originally, TDI double inner ring tapered roller bearings were developed by Timke to extend the bearing life and improve the system performance of three-point supported wind turbines. Now, TFL Bearings can also supply this type of bearing.
TDI double row roller bearings can be used in the following equipment: gear reduction units, cranes, calender rollers and other industrial machinery and equipment.
